Anide is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP), earning her Master of Science/Education Specialist degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Harding University Memphis campus. She has worked with adolescents and their families in a residential setting prior to transitioning to private practice.

Anide uses therapeutic approaches and interventions from Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), CBT, Family System Theory, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Anide has experience in addressing a variety of mental health and behavioral concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, family conflict, child behavioral concerns, suicidal ideation/self-harm, relationship difficulties, adjustment to life transitions, emotion regulation, grief/loss, and stress and anger management. 

When it comes to the client’s challenges and personal life, Anide views the client as the ultimate expert. She and the client work together to identify areas of conflict or stress in the various interpersonal systems of the client’s day-to-day life. Anide trusts her clients’ ability to recognize problematic situations and works alongside them to figure out ways to make changes. Through therapy, clients are strengthened in their ability to identify problems, weigh options, and try out pathways for change. Clients learn to see their concerns either as problems they can resolve or opportunities for growth, where they can find accomplishment through their challenges.
